Eric Hunn, Sr. 

Eric Hunn Sr. is the founder and president of Hunns Construction. He oversees and leads all aspects of the company’s projects and operations. With expertise in general contracting, construction management, design-build construction, and owner’s representative projects. Eric serves clients from a variety of industries including Residential, Commercial, Development and Industrial. With over 30 years of experience, Eric excels in managing projects from the early stages of conceptual design through planning and construction. Eric works together with clients, design professionals and project-related personnel on coordination, scheduling, and implementation of the project details in order to build a successful project. His ability to manage the sequencing of a project, coupled with strong client relationships, makes him a valuable contractor in the Cincinnati community.

Priding himself in building intentional relationships. Eric has built a well-respected reputation within the industry establishing himself as the lead contractor for companies such as: LaRosa’s Pizzeria, Buskins Bakery, and the Port Authority of Cincinnati. 

 

Eric is a 1983 proud graduate of Mt. Healthy High School where he was able to attend Diamond Oaks vocational school receiving his trade in carpentry. He enjoys giving back to his community and pouring into others which is why he founded BYOD. For him this was a way to give back with the main goal of making an impact on the youth encouraging them “Build your own dream or help someone build theirs”. Eric is the proud Sr. Pastor of the Glorious Church of the Living God and has been an active member of this church for over 50 years.

When Eric is not at work, he enjoys attending car shows, exotic fish, traveling and spending time with his family.
